Once again I am taking part in Spring Fling - Dumfries & Galloways open studios event. Spring Fling 2012 is the 10th aniversary and starts on June 2nd and lasts for 4 days. I will once again be in the Castle Douglas Art Gallery.

I am one of the lead artists in From The Gound Up at the Virginia Gallery on Virginia Street in Glasgow. I will be showing some of my urban, street and landscape photographs.
There will also be paintings from Glasgow based artist Sinclair Neeson and Edinburgh based Chay Nicholson as well as linocuts and etchings by Jenny Rose.

A couple of my Botanic photographs are being shown at the Virginia Gallery in Glasgow. This is a precursor to a much larger exhibition in the future - stay tuned!

Ian Biggar and myself are once again having a joint exhibition at Castle Douglas Art Gallery. The exhibition will run from Wednesday 18th May to Monday 30th May inclusive. This exhibition also covers the Spring Fling open studio weekend at the end of May. For me the exhibition will be in two parts as leading up to the Spring Fling weekend I will be displaying photographs from my Botanic project and then for Spring Fling itself I will be displaying some of my urban and street photography.

I have been selected to take part in Spring Fling this year. For three days at the end of May, Dumfries and Galloway hosts the most successful open studios event of its kind in Scotland.
